Q: When will the Club be open?

 

A: September 9th, 2013.

 

Q: Why bring a club to Wakefield?

 

A: The Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham already serves 80 kids from the Wakefield area. This is merely an expansion of services we already provide to the Wakefield community.

 

Q: What is the cost of membership?

 

A: Membership cost is only $25.00 for the school year.

 

Q: I am already a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham. Can I use the Wakefield Club?

 

A: Yes. Members will be able to enjoy services at both the Stoneham and Wakefield Clubs.

 

Q: What age groups can attend?

 

A: The Club in Wakefield will feature programming for ages 7 to 18.

 

Q: What programs will be offered?

 

A: Our programs will focus on three main areas:

 

Social Recreation, Education, and Community Involvement

 

Q: What will the hours of the Wakefield Club be?

 

A: Although not finalized, we hope to provide programming Monday through Friday from 2:30pm – 6:30pm.

 

Q: Is the Town of Wakefield funding this project?

 

A: No. Funding is provided through sponsorship and individual donations

 

Q: How can I donate?

 

A: Donations can be made in two ways:

 

1)     Checks can be made payable to BGCS Wakefield Club and dropped off or sent to:

2)     A secure donation can be made online at: www.bgcstoneham.org/wakefield

 

Q: If I donate to the Wakefield Club, will my donation stay in Wakefield?

 

A: Yes. All donations to the Wakefield Club will be used for the Wakefield Club.

 

Q: I can’t make a financial contribution. Can I volunteer instead?   

 

A: Absolutely! Contact the club at (781)438-6770 or go online if you are interested in volunteer opportunities.
